Live-In Schenectady is one of many projects in an ongoing effort made by several private investors to revitalize Schenectady’s downtown and city neighborhoods. This project required the demolition of an existing building in order to make room for a two-story brick building, serving as a new home for Schenectady County’s Department of Probation, Youth and Family Services, as well as Schenectady County Employees Federal Credit Union. The building also features more than 300 spaces for public parking. Construction began in December of 2018 and is due to open for occupancy at the end of October 2019.

This pre-engineered, metal design-build project is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The building design includes a 7,000SF office to overlook operations. The strategic layout of equipment and climate control throughout the entire facility was a necessity for production at this fast-growing wire/cable company. The site has been designed and approved for a future 50,000SF expansion.
